I have just watched this weeks first program of the series and have wondered what I was looking forward to - It was so boring.

Maybe I'm now spoilt by Beechgrove.

Boring time in the garden? Onions planted out. Peas planted out. French beans growing in the greenhouse. Tomato plants showing through in pots. Same with runner beans. Garlic already in, obviously, and growing nicely. Turnip and parsnip seedlings coming along nicely too. And that's just the vegetable side of things.

It's a lovely time of year, with warmer weather and everything coming back to life and growing again.

    Boring? Hardly!

You mean Hammond ? The guy who crashed whist driving in a straight line on an airfield?

Yes, at 288mph, after having a front tyre blow out.

His reactions clearly weren't up to the job of controlling this. :D

I was told this was the first - it is interesting the bbc don't advertise it is coming on - I think they used to.

Avid gardeners know when it's coming on though.
