Sorry to hear the car didn't pass. As you say though £125 isn't as bad as it could have been.
Hope pooch is doing better soon - I love schnauzer, always so smart-looking!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

We could not watch either
- I don't know what has happened to our Plusnet channel pack but the sport seems to have dropped off. I have now cancelled the £3 per month for HD which we don't use enough for £36 p.a. I suppose that is technically a £96 p.a. saving but it was hard, listening to the radio and following the live text on BBC Sport!

I opted fort Chelsea match. Probably made an error as the Arsenal game sounded a bit more entertaining ...my fault for asking a 10yr old to decide!
Well in work with one of those fabulous quiet Fridays. No one in, so I'll fly through my admin duties. I do have 2 conference calls scheduled but they won't be heavy. Planning on leaving early afternoon.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

Pooch is totally fine. Was never in any pain, just bleeding so he was mithered with it for a couple of hours. Though it does give him a convenient excuse not to go for a walk in the rain later...
I must say that I'm feeling very money motivated at the minute! I've really enjoyed all the Pension, Isa's, SIPPS research. I loving the FIRE type bogs and little vids on YouTube. And overall I must say it makes me feel quite empowered and really positive about our families current financial situation!
Just saying thats all...MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

I'm certain the majority of people now would wonder how the world even turned without internet, phones and wifi...But that's a whole other discussion!
Well I have half of a brew to finish then I'm heading home. I've powered through a stack of work and have had enough! The Sun has just popped out and I have made an absolute decision that those weeds will be tackled and dealt with...today...and before our evening meal...

AFK - I was scuppered just like you. I reckon i was 70% done and the heavens opened, very heavily! So i have a little bit left and then some cleaning up to do when everywhere is dry rather than me smearing mud everywhere.
