Mrs SJ was less than impressed (she's really happy with our progress but not happy with my constant "look at this" etc...although she was impressed with our reward scheduled for Friday due to our £50k milestone).
And rewards enjoyed with Mrs SJ are a wonderful thing! Just about to pm you.
2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Bit annoyed with myself for securing a new rate with fd so soon. As I paid the fee (worked out better for us) I'd need to lay another fee to secure a new rate. Definitely worth you keeping an eye on them though, good work.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

I feel your frustrations Cath. I suppose the only thing you can do now is never look at the rates again (well at least until 3 months before your rate ends).
Shattered this morning and lurgy which was at bay, has decided to have a second go this morning, grrrr. Troublesome night in work last night, but hopefully a quieter day today, and I'm determined to get out for a run late morning. Resigned to getting wet, but given the forecast for the next few days I may not get out again until Friday.
Only 3p to TT this morning, so i added a £1 on for good measure :rotfl:MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Inspiring diary mate, fantastic feeling to achieve where you are at. Will follow your progress.:T0

Thank you Lex, though I'm not sure if you need commiserating for finding your way in here!
Chesty, cough lurgy beat me last night. Coughing fit at 1.45am, i could feel my asthma starting so got up to try and cough the gunk up. I was annoying myself so i imagine Mrs SJ was on the verge of smothering me with a pillow! Drifted off to sleep on the couch at about 4am and dosed until 6.30am when the house woke up. Gonna be a long day today as only finish at 8.15pm and I have loads of things to do, grrr! Think it'll be a tea and food day to get me through. I'm glad i ran 5 miles yesterday now as there's little chance of getting out today.
65p TT this morning and i've had a little play with spreadsheet permutations following our better rate. Not much to report really as i already knew everything. Still aiming for somewhere between 100 and 120 payments (anyone got £20k going spare to get us to 100 payments??).MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

If I had 20K spare, I'd certainly help, however it will all be down to luck, on the euro millions tomorrow night and if you're thinking of buying and are lucky, then "I need 20K" for my home improvements :rotfl:

Well busy morning ahead. Football for DS2 at 9am, gonna be a cold one brrrr... Then dash home, quick change and out again to DS1 birthday party. Need to slot a run and a dog walk in at some stage of the afternoon as well.
Our mortgage paperwork came through so will get that signed and posted whilst I'm out with the pooch. My only other thing to do now is sort out our gas and leccy deal. I checked our networth this morning and can happily report that all our pensions have clawed back the losses from the last few months of 2018, so we're back ahead. Lets see what March 29th does to it all!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
