What happened to rounding
In all seriousness, congratulations at that NW, it's no mean feat to get to that level when you've got kids.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Well day one of the working week negotiated, and an early finish...so my usual 11 hour day was actually 10hrs 40mins (small things to be grateful of). Made it to the bank to pay our cheque in as well.
Tiny TT of 6p this morning (I can hear the bank quaking with the impact of that), and just noticed that payday is 7 days away...woo hoo! April feels like the first month of the year when we have some control back to the current account. We'll definitely colour in one brick of our house this month and have an outside chance of sneaking a second. If not this month then we definitely will in May.
Oh forgot to report, 6 items sold on ebay on Sunday. More clutter gone from our house and the paypal fund for DS2 birthday party in Aug nudges upwards.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
85p TT to start the day off. Rumour has it that the yellow thing may appear in the sky today alongside some mid teen temperatures... I'm thinking of being brave and putting some washing out on the line before work... Of course there's plenty of time for the forecast to change.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Washing went out, though sky was looking dodgy. Happy to report the yellow thing is now out, good decision made!
On the back of a conversation stream on supersavingsquirrel diary i have closed 3 current accounts this morning! Account decluttering!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Well done on the account decluttering; all part of the simplifying life process which seems to go hand in hand with the MFW journey in my eyes.
Hope you're enjoying the sun!MFW

Sun has been enjoyed today on a day off work. 5 mile dog walk which was fantastic (though not for little pooches legs), loads of washing caught up on and line dried. Loads of tea drunk after a horrid 15hr work day yesterday, but the only thing missing was a snooze and that got wrecked by school runs!
18p TT this morning, and after a bank account check i think that we may just about sneak the dentist payment out of normal monthly accounts. We have just enough cash left until payday, and Mrs SJ has been informed not to spend!!
MFiT challenge update is fast approaching. I have 1 more TT pot to OP on Sunday and then a i can submit our form. I think we will still be in the yellow unfortunately, but not by much. Nudging my target from 40k to 41k may just scupper us! But that's why a challenge is a challenge!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
How on earth has it gotten to Friday already?? What happened to Weds & Thurs this week?!?! Current account balance finished with £***.01 this morning so i TT'd £1.01, as i wasn't happy with 1p.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
