Greent - edging closer, just 4 sleeps to go!

Well i found some motivation for work yesterday and finally shut off MFW!! And i survived. Onto to today and i'm pretty much off, only i have about 2 hours to do this evening and its straight forward stuff so no planning needed.

Checked accounts this morning, TT'd 20p, shuffled some cash to kids savings and then checked on my S&S Isa to see if the direct debit payment from Tuesday had been invested yet (it's just in pending section). Anyway i was pleasantly surprised to see my modest £436 has risen by £2.68 in 10 days!

Well im off. Got washing to out on the line and then school run to negotiate before a nice 5mile dog walk (so grateful that nanny is having DD for the morning)!

Few piles of washing done and dried outside. Washing machine cleaned with white vinegar and bicarb. Dishwasher currently on a cleaning cycle (neglected this and the smell has started) with soda crystals. We already use homemade washing powder, and my next one is for fabric conditioner. We're going a touch more eco friendly. It may cancel out having a plastic garden ;)

4 mile dog walk this morning (the sky was looking devilishly black so we took an earlier turn back to the house!). So all in all a productive day :j

What are you planning on using for fab cond, jimmy? I use white vinegar (bought in bulk on a special offer on amaz0n). Sometimes I add essential oils, but mostly not :) Later in the year I might add lavender from the garden to some and fragrance a batch that way

I'm going to try a batch with orange peel in (OH eats masses of them). I've got some lovely oils (used to do aromatherapy massage) but am going to try some freebie fragrancing (although it works fine and doesn't smell vinegar-y if you just use plain vinegar)

The lemon & vinegar diluted right down with water makes a good cleaning spray too - great for mirrors, sinks, baths etc :)

Great knowledge for sinks and mirrors. Presume it'd do the same with windows?

Definitely - and stainless steel (eg splashbacks). I also use ours on the tv screen - but not necessarily advocating others do! (and shiny kitchen fridges - sigh... it looks lovely - if no-one touches it! :rotfl:)

If no one touches it... no chance with 6 grubby little hands in our house. Not to mention the dogs nose on the patio doors!!

78p TT this morning. The pot is ticking along nicely this week and sits at £5.01 (if did include £1.48 £co payment).
