My solution - no TV. :)

On the odd occasion my son has heard about some children's television programme and wishes to watch it, I'll take him to watch it at my parents' ... every time he realises it's not worth it. :D He doesn't realise I could probably find it on the computer!

    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500

  • Hi DFO

Was just thinking the same. Must be all that MB !!! Heard SJ is an expert.

  • Apologies for the absence, and thank you for the nice alert to remind me!

Been a hectic few weeks. Had to get living room finished before furniture delivery, and Mrs SJ return to work last week. Also had DS2 starting school with a ridiculously long integration period! Obviously the new furniture triggered new curtains and blinds which all adds to time!

Rest assured my MFW journey continues apace... Looking at £570 OP for this month and i've started looking at potential new rates for the New Year.

Funding circle has gone really well. All 24 initial loans have been paid without issue so far, so i'm thinking of adding our long term monthly savings to the mix (our savings pot has been battered with baby SJ), as the interest is significantly more than savings accounts.

And as for MBing i have to confess that its become a bit of a weekend hobby for me! My current profit is £660 in 3 months. So far i've bought red hot chilli peppers tickets for our Christmas night out, so well worth the effort!

  • Good to hear things are "normal" in the SJ Towers.

How could you not have new curtains and blinds with your new furniture :D

and I just knew that MB would be addictive, I so long to try it, once I understand it :o even if just for amusement's sake. You can tell I don't get out much :rotfl:

Red Hot Chili Peppers - should be a great night out.
