you will nead a cable router , there are no guarantee offf speed put if you stay in the peek limit you will have 4mbs 99% of the time and you go over you will have 2mbs for four hours

We have been having similar problems to other people here with Virgin. Our speed was supposed to be 8MB. Never did it give over 200k on the actual download from any site. It was a joke! Plus it was often unavailable and VIrgin advised this is becuase of other providers having a contention on the line.


Well, 4 months in and we ended up having to take them to court - we've just won and been refunded the call costs plus money they overhcarged us. In total our calls to them topped £127 - easy to do at 50p a minute for support.

They were fairly cheap which is why we went with them, but never again will we go near them and we regret very much havnig to do so.
