I have a mental image of the tall one with the deep voice and the scythe turning up and saying "TIME TO GO NOW, TERRY"

He'll be sadly missed - he's one of our favourite authors as well (along with PG Wodehouse).

    Afternoon all
Another TP fan here, my favourite characters are the witches.
I've been to the butchers, bought steak for hubby & lots of fruit & veg for me.
I have yet more paid for sewing jobs to do this weekend all more money in the coffers.
Hubby & I have a grandchild free weekend ahead so lots of hestering is planned in between the sewing.
    Have a good afternoon everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Gardener turned up this morning and mowed the lawn and it smells gorgeous out there
Just about to have a rummage in the freezer for something to eat.I was going to stop and get some fish & chips ,but decided that my freezer has fish already in there and the chips I, and my waistline, can well do without so I shall be a good old Grandma and have some steamed brocolli and mixed veg instead :)
The wind has got up here and its quite nippy, but at least I have got my bit of washing dried so I may iron it and get it out of the way tonight (there's not a lot of it ) then I can just potter around tomorrow as I haven't really got any need to go out.
have a good evening chums what ever you are doing. I have never read a TP book yet but I may have to have a look in the library to see what they are like, any recommendations chums

  • Today seemed to get away from me. Friday clean done, then a quick trip to town to take back an iron I bought for the quilting group. It was not working properly. Managed to get another one from Tesco, and it does work!!

Bits and strips box emptied, now have a smaller box with strips in and a box of squares. I need another box for left over squares. Have now started sorting though the fat quarter boxes.

Bought myself some Daffs from Tesco too, sign of spring.
