Same here, I'd rather have parcels left in a safe place, even in the recycling bin if necessary (assuming its contents are clean). I'd trust the courier to use discretion in not launching a fragile or obviously breakable object over a 6ft high gate though, but I'm aware not all take such care, unfortunately, which then gives the rest a bad name.
