Sky Tv prices changing in June

Heads up Sky TV prices will change on the 1st June, may go up or down but expect a rise !

prices are changing for :

Variety bundle
Family bundle
Sky sports
Sky movies

    In other words, tv prices are changing 9 months after previous changes/increases occurred on 1/9/14.

    I suspect that the rationale will be to make price rises appear shallower, by bringing them forward 3 months- the backdrop being that Sky have committed to pay £4.2 billion (an 83% increase) for a proportion of the 2016-2019 Premier League rights.

    It's inevitable that Sky will be looking for ways to pass these costs on to the consumer, in my view, yet Sky Sports customers will no doubt increasingly realise later in the year, that Sky have lost the Champions League rights to BT Sport.
