Equities taking a hit right now. Anyone know why?

  • you might even try to adjust UKX using gold price, and I guess more than likely it would tell you there is more upside.

Also, historical high can be passed anyway. Good example on SPX moving from 1600 to 2050 in the past few years.

If you are looking at very long run, I guess keep buying on regular basis would generally be ok.

However, given the original context was someone claimed it was "nose dive" when it was merely a 1% move, I guess saying recently the upside looks limited was not a bad statement?

These should be good for equities in general. However, watch out for any US FED rate hike news. Any hint even in the language they use could cause a correction.

This x1000. It is bloody pathetic how supposedly intelligent humans can get their knickers in a twist over the tiniest nuance of a sentence from the Fed. For example, 'potential' instead of 'possible' is probably enough to break the markets ;)

Intelligence went out of the window when they started printing money like lunatics. Thats whats driving the markets now.
