Of all the banks that could have bought TSB, Sabadell is probably the best. It is the only one in Spain known for keeping the account conditions after a takeover.0

Got the princely sum of £129.20 in my nominee account today for the cash equivalent of the bonus shares0

good for you..it all helps:T
it will be interesting to see how TSB operates going forwards. i recently opened an account, and i have been told this week that my branch "will probably close next year". they already leave it closed quite regularly, as there is another branch nearby. the fit out will have cost a lot of money, so it seems a shame to me, ala Santander, who kitted out two branches near to where i live that were only 3 doors apart:undecided0 -
My local strip of shops has lost two banks in the last five years.
Its only Santander and TSB left, both Spanish, the British banks have abandoned the locals, ironic.0 -
TSB have already announced some branch closures:

They might be closed by now.0 -
i think we are going to see fewer & fewer branches over the coming years. but most decent sized town centres still have at least one branch of all of the major high street banks.
NAB:Yorkshire/Clydesdale at the only bank that isn't represented in the two main town centres that i use.0
