Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini any good

I am looking for a good/decent mini smart phone. I am really only using it for the Calls/internet/Emails, not interested in cameras or taking pictures/playing games etc. My research points me to the Galaxy S4 Mini, i like the size and don't want to pay anymore than this model. I am buying PAYG (maybe new or used) not bothered about network neither.

really? I used one for 3 months and the last thing I would describe it as is "very fast". maybe ok for light use, but anything over that, I wouldn't recommend it.

go for the moto g. without a shadow of a doubt.

Virgin are currently doing the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact for £179.99 on PAYG, might be worth checking the reviews. It has a 4.3" screen, so falls into the 'mini' category, but has a lot of the larger Z1 specs.
