Ticketmaster.com Refund/Help

Hi there everyone, i wondered if anyone could provide me with any advice or information on the following problem i have:
I booked Britney Spears - Planet Hollywood tickets for Las Vegas, the date i was supposed to book was September 4th Friday, 9pm, i accidentally booked April 15th, when i dont even fly to vegas until september, I have made a mistake as i forgot to double check the dates, an oversight on my part. $440 in total.
I spoke with the USA Ticketmaster on the phone and the girl said that certain venues and concerts do not offer exchange/refunds, this being one of those said concerts, However due to my circumstances and the gap between now and september, she can contact the people who deal with her tickets and get a like for like exchange on the date i want, she said she will do her best for me, failing that i stand to lose, and yes i understand it is my fault.
I spoke to my credit card company and they said failing any help from britneys company/ticketmaster they could dispute the payment and try their best for me?
Im just looking for any hints tips or advice on anything else i should do?

I fail to see on what grounds your card provider could dispute the payment and do a chargeback? No fraud has been committed, and the supplier has not refused or failed to supply the tickets.
Unfortunately there is no automatic right to a refund just because you have made an expensive error: only what the vendor's own T&C's offer.
But if the card provider is prepared to try, you have nothing to lose.
Could you resell the ticket, or are they named tickets?No free lunch, and no free laptop0
