Newbie here! SOA added

Hello all
I have been reccommended this site and have lurked for a while, now i've signed up today and got the guts to post!

A bit of background.
I'm 23, single mum of a 3 year old, working part time.
I've had debt following me around for a few years and now it's all starting to catch up with me :o
I decided i wanted to face it all now so applied for credit knowing i wouldnt get it but i though it was the easiest way to get all my debts sent to this address (i've moved around alot since aged 18 but am staying here for a long time to come yet)
I have debts ranging from catalogues, credit cars to more important things such as rent, council tax and gas :o
I realise my debt is noones fault but my own and just want to get it all sorted now, i've been taken to court about my rent and council tax and that gave me a big shock, i dont want to loose my house.

Anyways, i'm going to do an SOA, but first wanted to ask a question.
Basically, i get paid weekly, pay most things wekly, but some monthly, so do i do my SOA weekly then divide the monthly ones to get a weekly figure?
Or is it best to work it out monthly (i work it out weekly but didnt know what was best for on here)

Thnx for reading, will post my SOA in a bit ;)

Thats not even half of the debt but i'm still waiting for the rest of it to come, this is all i have at the moment.

I know i'm not brassick at the end of the week/month, but i never seem to have any money.
I done everything monthly but i pay most things baring my car insurance and council tax weekly, oh and my telly but i always just pay that with my child benefit.
I get my wages on a monday and tax credits on a thursay, which makes it difficult for me when it comes to the things i cant pay weekly because i end up being skint on those weeks, it's a joke.
I was thinking about seting up a bank account specifically for monthly bills and getting everything done monthly, but am unsure how to work it all out

As far as the dets go, i havent contacted anyone yet, wanted a bit of advices really, i've seen a hread where someone was advised to not to contact cap quest by phone, oh my heads in such a jumble, please help me :o

I would suggest you work it out monthly. Partly because most bills are usually monthly, also because most of us are more used to comparing monthly amounts and also because weekly things tend to fluctutate a lot while monthly tend to even out a bit. However, if most of your things are weekly then you do whatever is best for you but do keep it consistent (i.e. dont mix weekly and month and confuse us all).

Hi, confused about your rent £130, is that weekly or monthly. Do you get housing benefit, if so what is the full rent?

he will be funded from september, so will reduce the childcare costs. he's in private nursery 4 days a week and will go to the school one for one day, i need him in the private one as i need to work from 8am.
he is potty trained but not at night, he's been potty trained nearly a year, but he still goes to bed with his bottle :o
