Compensation from persimmon for phone and broadband delay?

Options
We moved into our new build persimmon home on 19/12/2014. On the 11/12/2014 I booked sky and open reach to install our phone line. We were told they couldn't do it. They rearranged for 22/01/2015. I waited in all day and nobody turned up. When I rang sky apparently open reach said there was work that needed completing before they could connect us. Since then I've tried contacting open reach myself, complained to sky numerous times and even rang persimmon head office to try and get answers. Persimmon told us all work is complete and the delay is due to open reach. I spoke to sky yesterday who had an update direct from open reach stating persimmon have forgot to build the junction box for our house! So I rang persimmon again, they tried to feed me the same line of 'everything on our end is complete'. I told her I have it direct from open reach who has a note from the site manager saying this isn't true. She promised to look into it. This morning I got a knock on my door from a disgruntled site manager asking to come in to see if we have a phone line! I told him we do not as apparently we don't have a junction box even. He points at a pile of bricks and said 'that's the junction box, it's done now' so I asked why it had taken three months and he said because they hadn't built the path!
Now, sky and open reach have both said they'd pay me compensation due to the unreasonable delays and the fact using my mobile for calls and internet has cost an absolute fortune which I feel when I did my part in booking engineers, it's unfair I'm out of pocket due to no fault of my own. However, as the issue has proved to be persimmon all along, I can't see sky or open reach paying compensation, as indeed they shouldn't. But I'm still out of pocket. Where do I stand reclaiming these costs I've incurred from persimmon? I'm very angry it's taken three months to even get a box for the house and I'm still not connected! Thank you.

    Not Sky's fault .
BT OR are not know for paying compensation .Looks like they could not proceed due to building site work .
You are going to have to ask Persimmon to refund you your mobile costs .

Doubt very much whether you will get compenation from Persimmon for your costs arising from the lack of the phone service UNLESS a working phoneline actually was specified by the solicitor acting on your behalf in the purchase -it isn't seen in the same light as the essential utilities ie power, water and drainage.
You might get something for your trouble BUT bear in mind that you might need to stay on the right side of the site manager to get other snagging issues sorted -and he will get the blame from Head Office if you continue to rattle the Persimmon cage !!!
