Tesco CC: phone number to speak to a real person?

Been round in circles on the Tesco CC phone menu and cannot get to speak to a real person.
Does anyone have a different number other than the usual 0845 300 4278?
I'm annoyed because I paid in full well before the payment date last month & have still received a bill this month. I need to speak to someone to sort this out otherwise it'll go on forever.
Thanks.

Try 01268 50 80 27It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

You've paid the previous bill and now received the next one to pay.
What difference does it make that you've paid the bill early?0 -
What's wrong with this?

I also was confused with the OP's query, unless it's where they paid in full before they received the statement, only for the statement to be produced before their payment had cleared?0 -
I read it that they have paid off their outstanding balance in full prior to the payment date, but have still been charged interest for the period.0

Because I paid in full. OK, so there's a "†" next to the "until repaid in full" which links to "† If you pay the balance off in full, any interest charge for the period from the previous statement to the date of full repayment will be debited the following month" ...but that just means this situation will continue - I can only pay the max each month (like I did last month), but the max will never be good enough to pay it off and have a balance of zero.0 -
Nope, not getting it.0

OK, so you receive a bill for £100 and pay it off in full before the payment date. You'd expect your next bill to be £0 if you hadn't made any more purchases etc., right?
...except if you hadn't paid off the whole amount the month before, you get stung for the continuing interest of that.
So, OK, I have an annoying bill I wasn't expecting again this month despite clearing it last month (& making no further purchases) because I didn't clear it the month before that.
But I still need to speak to a human being at Tesco CC about related problems.0 -
If you hadn't paid in full "the month before that" then at least you have to receive the bill with the interest on the old transactions.0
-
If you pay in full for two consecutive months you will not get any more trailing interest.0
