    mine s about 4 inches higher than the one I replaced on the stand ..but it is bigger so kind of evens out..

    You have to sit down ..then see where it feels comfortable ..

    The standard TV stand is for people sitting/lying in sofas.


    Imagine you are in bed. If you had a TV on a normal TV stand, you would not see the bottom half. That's why they mount them high in hospital rooms.


    I also have a dining room TV, which is the one used most. It has to be higher than the bowls and bottles on the dining table.
