I had ignored a parking charge notice, and now I have received a letter from Debt Recover Plus claiming I must pay or I dont they will recommend to the creditors solicitor that court action could be taken what you owe.
This charge was because I overstayed in a free car park, which was empty, any advice or tips would be appreciated.0 -

Quick update, Folks - just received confirmation from BPA that both 'PCS' and 'AM Services' are members.
Haven't heard anything about my appeal to 'PCS' yet (apart from an acknowledgement of its receipt). I'll update this thread again when I do hear.0 -
Am I missing something or why has no one advised using the "out of time " route and demanding to see the original PCN and NtO/NtK to check dates?
Absolute winner, GPEOL or no !!!0 -
Still nothing heard from PCS, basically assumed the fine had been dropped. No! - this morning I received a debt collection letter from DRP - Debt Recovery Plus - now asking for £150. Rang them, told them nothing heard from PCS about my appeal. During the whole, angry, call, all the woman wanted to know was who was driving the car. Told her nowt. Email'd DRP last night confirming my call and saying I'd employ a solicitor if I had another letter from them.
Guys Dad - sorry, I've only just seen your post. Can you let me know what the 'out of time' route is, please? Thanks.0 -
AM parking still showing BPA logo,s , however according to the BPA
Thank you for your e-mail.
I can confirm AM Parking left our membership on the 27th February 2015.
Kind regards,

The government is in the midst of a private parking consultation ....
please consider taking the time to let them know how you have been treated

they can still offer a popla code as at the time they were members (doesnt mean they will)
you can and should IGNORE drp (and pcs , the same company, and zenith too - same company)
its an LBC or an MCOL from AM parking you should watch out for and respond to (unlikely I know)
after 6 years, you can forget about them
read posts #12 and #13 here too
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5161978
also complain to the DVLA about a lack of your appeal rights
and complete the government survey too0
