Because perhaps we shouldn't be allowing the apathetic to make the decisions?...

And we shouldn't allow a minority to force their opinions on others either.....
As far as those who do decide they want to work..... are they then chastised or frowned on by their "Comrades".....

Again, you're not even making an actual point here - this is just general whinging for the sake of being argumentative apparently.

Again, I agree, but the majority of those that bothered to vote voted for strike :o

If I decide to work (which I probably will) I will have no problems going into work and doing my usual 100% effort committed day.

I do feel for the likes of the bus and train drivers who want to work thou :o They could face problems crossing picket lines. Translink have taken the correct decision in saying there will be no service at all to avoid any harassment.
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

perhaps to a mistake to wander into the Mrs Thatcher appreciation thread. All out on Friday!!
  • The right to strike is the one last defence that working class people have to protect themselves. Rather than working people having a go at each other why dont we ask the question with the country heading for chaos why our great leaders can still head off on another wee junket to the United States for St Patrick's day at the tax payers expense.

In a poll of public apathy, it was found that most folk couldn't care less :D

Only one great leader this time - let's hope peter's ticket is refundable.
