Selling mobile phone with customised roms OK?

I was thinking of listing my previous phone, a HTC Sensation, on ebay.
The problem is, I completely customised it, with the 4ext bootloader/recovery, and the CyanogenMod ROM. It is much much nicer to use, but completely different than the standard HTC ROM.
Will I need to try and restore all the vanilla HTC software before listing on ebay, or could it be more desirable to list with the custom ROM. Is it actually legal to sell it with hacked ROMS?
Cheers in advance.

I am not sure about the legality of selling it with a hacked ROM but I would think that the restored phone would be more appealing to the average buyer and you might be able to sell it quicker. Just think of someone non technical in your live; would they buy it? If the ROM is valuable for a tech person, they would probably be able to install it themselves.
Apart from that, it's always a good idea to wipe the device before selling it so that your info is safe.0
