I received a cheque for the exact amount from the date I was awarded HRM.

Was the arrears refund issued from DVLC or DWP's?

Remember you have to tax the car at the local DVLA centre for the first time as it is also a change of taxation class.

I done it at a village sub post office, no problems.
I understand changing back from disabled to PLG must be done at a regional DVLA office.

You can change it to disabled tax at a post office but you can not change it from disabled to normal, however bizarre that may seem, we bought a car from a guy with a disabled daughter and had to go to regional office to change it.
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • I know this is an old topic, but when you change it back over at a regional dvla office, can you tax it there the same day?

fos, I think the general concensus is that you can't get it backdated unless you can prove some fault or liaibility from DWP, since you went to tribuneral, I would say you can.

PS How did you get on with your endowments?
