I love my mum enough to keep my views on her private. Social media can be bad for you.

And I really feel for friends who get past Valentine's after the messy divorce then have to eye Mother's day with that lady long in her grave & much missed.

I'm all for Mothering Sunday as a religious festival where you can take the women who you care about along & publicly cherish her - mum, aunt, nan, whomever, but the cards & bouquets are getting much too American & commercial.

My mum would feel the same way too. Some things are too private to share. TBH, I'd rather the companies who do the comps would just do a simple question format that requires an A, B or C answer. I think it's fairer that way.
