I have recently paid off an old very account through lowell and have since viewed my credit report and it seems to have disappeared? My credit score has understandably gone up but I'm wondering if it will come back on next month as a paid off default
Can anyone advise me on this please, thanks in advance.

If it's over 6 years, paid or not. How will this affect her credit score?0 -
This month it has gone from 720-889 but If they're gonna put it on next month I'm sure it'll go back down, fingers crossed they won't

And if it's over 6 years it will no longer be visible or your credit report and not factored into your score

Hi kirstybumAnd if it's over 6 years it will no longer be visible or your credit report and not factored into your score

You are correct, if the default is over six years this will no longer show on your (Experian) credit report, and will not be factored on your credit score, as the default becomes older can be seen to have less of a negative impact to your credit report.
If you're credit report is with Experian and you would like me to establish why the defaulted account has been removed, as you've mentioned it's only been two years since it defaulted, please email me your details (name/dob/address) so I can investigate this further for you.
Kind Regards

Lol, I think I would be waiting till next month and see if it comes back on before I sent any details for investigating. Investigating might just stir it up and it definitely goes back on ha ha.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
