Thanks SFSB. :T Managed to call at my ex-Netto after work but they were sadly lacking in variety. I also miscalculated and had to throw in a Twix at the SS till to get the total over the APG I wanted to use!

    1 x Haribo Maoam Giant Strawberry Stripes £0.10 N/A

I have to agree, he is even madder than Jeremy Clarkson, among other things he has managed to ride a motorbike on water

We saw this at Bala and he was a really nice chatty bloke, really normal and down to earth :)

I bought 2 reduced boys tops yesterday marked up at £2 and £3 bur at ss till the price came up at £5 and £7. I smugly told oh to leave it be and I would go to cs for a refund of difference plus the giftcard. Cs informs me that as the reduced price was written on the tag with the letters "po" the sa should have over ridden the price for me but as I served myself I had overcharged myself  and was not due a giftcard :( Not sure she was right but decided not to cause a scene :o

I was told this at the weekend that as I had gone through SS I wasn't entitled to a giftcard as I should have noticed that the multibuy didn't work.
I didn't make a fuss in the shop but sent an email to HO to ask if this was correct and this was the reply I received.

I'm sorry when you returned to the store to rectify an overcharge, my colleagues didn't honour our £2 Overcharge policy as you used the self service checkouts. This is very disappointing to hear and I can confirm that it doesn't matter which till you use to receive this goodwill gesture.

I have contacted the Customer Service Manager to make them aware of your experience. I have asked for this to be looked into further with their team as I am concerned to hear about the service you received. Further training will be provided to ensure this level of service isn’t repeated in the future.

I would like to send you the £2 gift card from here to ensure that no more inconvenience is caused. If you can reply with your address details I will happily pop a gift card in the post for you.

Once again I'm sorry you were overcharged in our B@@@ store. If there is anything else I can help with, please call me or one of my colleagues on 0800 952 0101. Thanks again for taking the time to email and allowing me to help.

    Kind regards

Good customer service :) Not sure what they would say with this one as the barcode was never going to scan at the correct price which is why it said PO (price overide) although Joe public is not to know that are we? Will let this one go...just the once though :o

I think he would be a good choice as there are loads of motor bikers in this country and there isnt a fair representation so he would fit in well with 2other car presenters.maybe its better to start afresh with 3 new presenters if the hammond and may are hinting of going aswell.no hosts should be bigger than the programme itself so beeb shouldnt be held to ransom by clarkson and co.
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

So, main changes in M today (yes there are some) is the Trimmed Leeks are off. Were 69p now 99p! However, I think Aldi may have been cheaper than 10% off 69p so it wasn't any good anyway?:rotfl:

Also, maybe careful on the individual 150g pies - they have totally vanished and left no trace behind at all in TWO of my stores. I have found them, and showing 3 for £1.50, in a third store but seems to be thin on stock there and some variants of the pies may be going OOS so may become risky. Or maybe it won't:rotfl:. Meanwhile, the Diced Swede bag has completely gone - so this is the point where I expect the APG to go N/A on the next update. I did before, when they disappeared a few months ago (and then came back), but I was a little premature as APG did continue to compare for a short time even while I had them OOS and no trace.

Things going off, things going on. Lots of small jars of Cranberry Jelly (near the Cranberry Sauces that sort of thing) on RTC are still left in the store that hasn't displayed any price on them:rotfl::rotfl:.

You know, I think we should never buy or compare anything against these regular, everyday prices. Instead we should wait and everything will eventually be (proper) RTC in the end and then much cheaper:rotfl:. I've had the M own brand "Delicate Bottoms" baby cream on the list at £1.35:eek: (after deciding the Johnson's Baby Nappy Cream even on its lowest offer prices was way too dear:rotfl: - remember that, £1.99:eek::eek: for about half the amount?). To be fair I have been suggesting Try Poundland as it seemed the baby cream was still more expensive by weight in M than an alternative available in Poundland. However, the M product is now 67p:), so this is the time that maybe we should be buying and stocking up and then never ever buying them again - you know that, after this, they will never go back onto my list at £1.35 now. (I say "maybe" as - me and the Deicer, bought at £1:(, later went to 48p, but now I see someone at 21p in T although how big are the cans/triggers?) Offer on the baby cream in M goes into April, supposed to be end date 6th April.

Leave off the SP Baby Wipes (80 pack) for now! There are some offer prices on the baby wipes in M, including the SP-equivalent and also on the Huggies 64 wipes and some Pampers too. I have 23p going onto the SP-equivalent in M, but they are smaller packs so I think it's round up to 26p or 25p and then about 23p including the 10% (if they pick up new price). The downside though is that my second store has still left them all at full price:(.

Yet, in my second store, they show a points offer on the Huggies wipes - supposedly 50 points = 5p:( and showing the full price £1, but More points offer shows as on until 29th March:huh:. Yet they appear to be 50p now in the other store, so maybe 50p and 5p of points off = 45p in M. Otherwise, perhaps the offer price isn't on yet or perhaps the More points offer has been withdrawn early.

I've got details of some Princes canned fruit from M, in case they glitch between Thursday and Tuesday:wall::rotfl:.

Finally, how can you be unclear on the individual packs of sweets? I've been trying to work out whether the Rowntree's Randoms (50g) single pack is on 2 for 90p or not. The offer label says "Rowntree's Jelly Tots/Tooty Fruities/Fruit Pastilles/Randoms/Tandems singles". Simple eh? Well, no, not for me!

As far as I am aware, there are no straight plain "Tandems" - nothing that is called "Rowntree's Tandems" - instead there are "Randoms Tandems". Therefore, there are plain "Randoms" and there are "Randoms Tandems" but no plain "Tandems". Yet they refer to ".../Tandems". Does "Tandems" therefore mean "Tandems" (which there do not appear to be) or does it mean "Randoms Tandems"? Maybe that is why they have it as ".../Randoms/Tandems". However, is the "Randoms" part therefore including the plain "Rowntree's Randoms" or does it mean "Randoms Tandems" as indicated by "..../Randoms/Tandems" (and therefore excluding the plain "Randoms"). What do they mean? By "Tandems" do they mean "Randoms Tandems"? And therefore "Randoms" means the straight plain "Randoms"?

Yet, of course, they only mention "Rowntree's" once, at the start: yet it is clear that not just Jelly Tots are Rowntree's but they mean the others are too. Otherwise, to make that totally clear, they would have to say "Rowntree's Jelly Tots/Rowntree's Tooty Fruities/Rowntree's Fruit Pastilles/Rowntree's Randoms/Rowntree's [presumably Randoms] Tandems singles".

I think they are assuming that the Tandems are the Random Tandems, and therefore the "Randoms" (mentioned immediately before that and separated by a confusing (it is for me:(:D) slash) are something else - namely the straight Rowntree's Randoms (50g) (and therefore they are included). But, for all I know, ".../Randoms/Tandems" could be confined just to the Rowntree's Randoms Tandems (which aren't stocked in A according to msm) and therefore they haven't mentioned anything about plain "Rowntree's Randoms" in the offer at all.

Anyway... I've got the [Strike]crisps,[/Strike] sorry savoury snacks, hence the delay before this post appeared, and receipt due for checking pre-midnight!:j:rotfl:

And, come on, tell me of Lucozade now, at this time of night!!:eek::rotfl: Just in time for when I get back...:( Anyway, way too late!:rotfl: But, no, if anyone is interested I found a glitch possibility on some Reese's Peanut miniatures (140g) in the early hours, but all of 10p back vs Sains:(:rotfl::rotfl:. (£2.30 vs £2.50 on two.) Multis now well on, well it wasn't worth it! I mean... £1.50:eek: for a 140g pouch? Choc pouches even at straight 98ps would be cheaper.
  • Seabrook look to be on msm is this true?
