Oh lol for me and you but tears then back in the day. At least yours was just tea. I assumed, of course, that Donny and i would be getting married at some point. I did not seem to think at the time that it mattered much that
a. he lived 1000's of miles away
b. he was a superstar
and
c. he didn't know I existed

I wrote to Des O'Connor when I was 7 and asked him to sing 123 O'Leary for me. I never found out if he did cos we were on holiday the week I asked him to sing it. Still have the Signed photo with a note (doubt if it was written by him though):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

How sad is this I even remember standing at the front window waiting for him to turn up, got my mum to make cakes (well she did every week), of course I didn't believe her until the time passed that he wasn't coming.0 -
