Ooooh some little git has left One Direction (the one I nearly ran over once at Piccadilly Circus). Prepare for some moody teens! *runs to Twitter to read the meltdown comments*

Just had the storm down the stairs and why did you not get me 1D tickets last time. Zayn has left.

So will be going out for a meal with a moody teenager tonight I guess. :rotfl:

Its not really the same thing. First I'll say I don't really care for Top Gear and often find Jeremy Clarkson annoying however the programme would not be the same without him (not sure if they are planning to continue the programme without him). A lot of people like him and the programme makes lots of money for the BBC. I fear that without Top Gear our TV licence fee will increase :(

IMO it's not that big a deal. They should have just paid the man who got punched some money to not make a fuss. I'm sure he would have been happy with that. No need to axe a programme that is loved in many different countries and cause disappointment for hundreds of thousands if not millions of people

I feel sorry for Richard Hammond and James May :(

:rotfl: sorry, that made me laugh! I think this generation has a short enough attention span that the mood won't last long, not like when Take That disbanded. :rotfl:

    Good luck :)

Happy to say I disagree Evangeline :) Most of you know I work in TV (when I'm not dossing about) and if any of my colleagues laid a finger on me, I'd expect them to be fired, regardless of how much money they bought to the company. It shouldn't be any different for this producer. Would you accept money and allow the man who hit you to come back to work? I think it's a slippery slope to normalise this kind of thing.

I've heard a lot of sexual harassment stories from older women in telly. They had to shut up and get on with it, amidst gropings and all sorts  Glad we live in more enlightened times now. We're encouraged to report anything like this straight away.
