How nice of you to visit...I see TS has put the kettle on:T

Now.......do you need to reduce your shopping bills? :D
Interestingly, I find I spend less at the supermarket since I've been getting my organic box deliveries, which brings me all my fresh food and some store cupboard food every week.

Although the organic food (milk, meat, fish, cheese, bread, fruit, veg, some beer and chocolate etc.) is expensive compared with supermarkets, I actually spend less overall because I go to supermarkets less often. Once a month or less, to get all the other things that I can't get from the organic people.

It made me realise just how much I had spent on impulse buys and convenience food.

Plus, getting the veg box makes me cook and eat more veg! It doesn't keep well, as it's not covered in preservatives, so I have to knuckle down and cook it, otherwise it becomes expensive compost!

I can't help look at all the different tabs people have open when they post screenshots :rotfl:

I thought that nectar site you have open was new but some of the challenges were uploaded in February :(

The only task that it says I was successful in earning any points for (ie I was within the first xxx of people to do it) was 50 points for watching a video

We get a veg box too most weeks to supplement growing our own. :D

But sometimes we have to cancel as I get a bit carried away with whoopsies when things are really cheap. Organic bag carrots and 2 organic cucumbers last week penny each. Bag of avocadoes 2p and finest jacket potatoes 1p for 4, got 2 packs. Still had bit left over from our box week before so Friday's delivery was cancelled. :o

Elite shopping is a very alternative way of shopping, sometimes we don't actually part with any cash or get paid to take things away. ;)

    Oh yes! :rotfl:
It's just that I intend to cook and eat it, but sometimes events take over, and if I'm not super-disciplined and cook it as well as doing 'events', I can find that it's gone off, so I have to make sure I do!

Besides, the time spent blanching etc. is more or less the same as stir-frying, so I may as well just cook and eat it!

Obviously if it's cheese or meat etc, it can go straight in the freezer, but I was talking more about the fruit and veg! :)

You may wish to reconsider this strategy - when there's a glitch on it's GoGoGo ;):T:D

    Welcome btw
