Only one good receipt today, all mbuys show but fortunately they bought one of these at full price!

    Vs Sains.
    2 x Ambi Pur 3volution Plug-In Unit £6.00 £4.00
    3 x Ambi Pur 3volution Air Freshener Lotus Verbena Re... £11.00 £9.00

I don't think this is a glitch, at least not of a type that we could use in any very good way, but I notice that, on the receipt, they actually have one of the Plug-In Unit as not marked with an mbuy, due to them buying an odd number, and it's actually given them the three at higher individual price (the Lotus Verbenas) and one of the Plug-In Units with the mbuy therefore £7 "mbuy savings", £4 on two of the Verbenas (£5 + £5 = £10 - £4 = any 2 for £6) and £3 on the remaining Verbena and one of the Plug-In Units (£5 + £4 = £9 = £3 = any 2 for £6), whereas, on the comp., it's come back with one of the Verbenas (at £5) as missing the mbuy, therefore, although they've "saved" £7, the comp. only reflects a "saving" of £6. £4x2 = £8 plus £5x3 = £15 = £23 - total of £17 showing on APG = £6. (Or, it can be seen, Units at 2 for £6, and Verbenas at 2 for £6 + £5 full price on the third = £11.)

Wonder if we could buy a mix of items on mbuy, get the mbuy but then buy a further cheaper individual price item that misses the A mbuy amount (and thus we actually pay full price:eek: for that, doubtless why this seems to me to be unlikely to be something we could use in a good way). Then, the idea is, we would try to have the mbuy transferred on the comp. to include the cheaper individual price item and a partially mbuy-missing higher priced item (albeit one mbuy on that may show). If we then have - I was thinking the less expensive individual price item but with an mbuy, making it even less expensive:(, as an N/A vs elsewhere but the higher individual priced items comparing to cheaper - albeit probably picking up one mbuy but missing another (that's gone onto the lower individual price item instead), then maybe something 'good' could be found - but we don't even need to have a non-compare (on the 'cheaper' item), just all of them still cheaper even after A's mbuys (or partial mbuy). But I think it's still no good - certainly not as good as a total mbuy no-show - as it would get part of the mbuy showing. I suppose it depends what the prices are elsewhere and what compares or does not to elsewhere, so it may be good or bad depending on the precise pricing elsewhere and what is or is not available - if the mbuy that shows but that item was N/A at the relevant competitor whilst the full price no-show compares to cheaper? Otherwise not as good as complete no-shows - and certainly would be better to have complete no-shows and both items comparable to cheaper rather than no-show on one and the other not compare. Better if, as above, both are cheaper elsewhere - both on the part that doesn't have mbuy and on the part on which the mbuy does show as S still cheaper even after that mbuy.

Is this a clue as to which items APG picks up as mbuy, when an odd number (or mbuy-missing) amount is bought, and which it does not, either at A or at competitors? (I noticed when Mullers picked up M mbuy, which they then sadly lost again, it was a different footprint of Mullers that picked up 50p mbuy for T than did for M on same shop., even though all of them compared against both T and M - probably meaning nothing, and may reflect just the differences in which got picked up in the offer from instore price collection vs online price scraping, different methods for M and T pricing, and which did not - as I say, probably means nothing.)

On that Avs S comp., sadly they bought a lot that was much more expensive in S so offset that comp. on the Ambi Purs quite a bit, but it was a lot of help that S was somewhat cheaper even after A's mbuy on the Unit and that they missed one of the mbuys and got S cheaper on the Refills too, so S still turned out cheaper so it was good!!
