Morning
*puts one toe on soapbox*
There's no such thing as a truly selfless act
The udis aren't very nice when you've got a cupboard/freezer full of very nice food, but if you've got nothing to feed yourself or your children, they're very nice indeed
Mentioning you give them to food banks is not calling yourself a saint, personally I think it's better in a food bank than in the bin.
Just because you gain something personally out of donating something to charity, it doesn't mean that you shouldn't do it. Charity shops have been doing well out of people's unwanted crap for a very long time
What's the difference between offloading a load of unwanted toiletries to a womans refuge and doing the same with food to a food bank. Is one more altruistic than the other?Final cigarette smoked 02/01/18

Good Morning all
I've been donating sadas udis and the bagels i got from coupons in the tosco magazine last month for a while now. Theres a lady that unfortunately has to use a food bank whos whole family is gluten intolerant and shes very gratefull for anything gluten free as these items are rare to get from a food bank..I met her there one day i was dropping udis off ...now i drop them at her home.0 -

The finish pure power are showing as in the offer on asda.com but not in the offer on msm so they should be a trigger then shouldnt they?
Msm shows 2 items in the 2 for £13 offer asda.com has the 3.0 -

Well that settles it then. Those gluten free wotsits are like marmite, some people love them, some hate them. Keep giving what you can, when you can
FC I hope all goes well with your OH today. Spirited discussions aside, I can't imagine what it must be like for you xxDebt free 6th December 2014

I send clothes I no longer want & household bits when I've changed decor, gone off them etc ,just because I don't want/ like the items any longer doesn't mean somebody at the charity shop won't want them either.
It's the same principle as giving to the foodbank, people would rather someone make use of something than see it go in the dustbin.
Just my humble opinion.
As an aside, put it in your diaries folks,it's sunny in Manc today!!
