Tonight we had a great debate on how disgusting they are by the people who donate them to other people.......which was my point. They are donating them because they are too disgusting for them to eat. I don't call that charity at all
we can agree to disagree. Maybe some people would rather run a marathon than eat an udi?
My point was made about starving people because those that are fortunate to have the choice of food can pick and choose what they feel is nice to eat or not, people who are starving don't have that choice.
Personally I have not even tried an udi but not because the general opinion is that they are disgusting but purely because they are too fattening for me. I personally used to love Pop Tarts and they too have been referred to as being rank. Am I bothered about other peoples taste opinions.....no.
If I choose to donate to food banks food that I don't eat because of fat content does that make it wrong? I suppose I could always throw them in the bin or sell them at the car boot so as not to offend anyone at the food bank?
I could donate daily or never at all, people on here could see me as a angel or a sinner, am I really that bothered? Is anyone really that desperate for a pat on the back......I don't think so.0 -
