Remember how I've been waiting for the MSE energy club to update for ages, to allow me to switch again? It's now finally letting me do so! However, it's basing a saving on the Ofgem way of calculating which counts the cost of what I would in theory pay after my fix ends - I've absolutely no intention of staying a minute beyond then (and can of course ditch without penalty 45 or however many days it is before then) so it'll be ditch and switch. It therefore seems to be no saving on what I'm already paying:( - just another fix with the same supplier.

However, it's not offering me any CB:( for switching within my current supplier. I'm sure I've heard something about this though - was it an MPs' committee that very recently criticised another website (energy price comparison) for there being no CB for switching to current supplier and didn't that site give evidence to the committee to say that in fact this is, or should be, available for switching to your own supplier and that they do offer such a thing? I have vague recollection - but wasn't this something that MPs have criticised for not being available that therefore ought to be provided?

Needless to say (in other words it isn't:D) I'm not happy about not being able to work the system and get CB, CB and CB every few minutes for switching continually every other minute if I could. Come on - I thought you want to encourage switching:laugh:.

Scamps, I have not read the small print on this, but with a lot of the betting cashbacks, it excludes low risk betting from the wagers you have to make, and red/black is usually excluded. :o

red or back is allowed under the T&Cs

red AND black is not allowed under the T&Cs

(some of us do read them you know )

I'm with Cash Back on this one - Auto did a valuable job in bringing this vile subject to the forefront of all our minds but its been discussed now at length and its now going over the same ground . It appears to have caused some complaints and the Team have asked her to stop and its not wise to egg her on to defy their ruling. Best to let it lie for a while - anyone wanting more info can easily PM Auto and I'm sure she would be happy to help.

    Hi, all

can I just say that im not with cashback on this one.i like to think this thread is for bargains, descending into general debate and getting to know ppl.i am aware that I am only hanging on to the coat tails ogf the elite here and cant contribute to finding bargains but not for lack of trying:mad:
I enjoy all the pics, antics, humour and every day stuff and I dont think aa has gone too far as shes only commenting on her stuff.i probably get on ppls nerves on here cos my posts are far removed from money saving most of the time.i just say if you dont like the post, ignore it and move on to the next.
everyones entitled to their own opinion but I would hate to think anyones being put off posting stuff .
if you like a post, great.....if not just read the next one.
btw, surprise, surprise,...sally wag is .....asleep:rotfl:
