I had given DS money to buy gifts for me and my mum from him, next day he went to the ATM and lifted the money out of his account to give me back even though I told him not to but he said he never really spends his pocket money and at least he got something I'd like and wear (a charm for my bracelet).
One very happy mummy, he also got me some tête a tête's to plant out which seem to be almost ready to bud so will look nice out the front of the house for a wee while.
I hope things are going as well as can be for you and the family, I've been thinking of you quite a bit. I missed quite a bit of what happened but hope things get a better shade of normal for you all :kisses3:
We have been through a lot since Xmas. BIL went off the rails for a wee while due to his cousin being murdered, brought back memories for him of when DH died just after the funeral of his best friend. Too much for him to deal withhe went on a week long bender, didn't turn up for duty and refused to speak to his Sargent. Ended up with MP picking him up and throwing him in cells after he tried to get into his car drunk then beat his mates up for trying to stop him drive off. Thankfully his Sargent knows how to get through to him and kept an eye on him for quite a while, keeping him busy seems to work with him as it's when he's bored things play on his mind
We have to be strong but sometimes we need someone to be there for us, I've found someone I can confide in and be a shoulder to cry on if needed and I can only hope you have someone there for you too xx
Bless you :A Your family has had its share of tragedy SD. Life can be very unequal at times.
And well done to your DSThat is lovely :T It's a testament to you that he wants to use his money to give you a special treat. Sounds like he's turning out to be a very thoughtful young man. I've always thought the 2 of you are so unbelievably close after what you've been through. A unit
I am ok. Me and my little army are soldiering on. I might be seeing OH later this week. He's still breathingother than that I dont know a lot. I get updates but they are quite clinical and not very informative. That could be a good thing maybe? I don't know. I will attempt a phonecall tomorrow. I'm not sure what to think about that? It's been a fair few weeks since I spoke to him in any sort of lucid state......
it's lovely to see you posting again. Stay strong x0 -

We found a stray dog tonight when we took ours to do his duty. A little black terrier with no address. We put her on our lead and carried our dog, which put my arm to the test.
Luckily we found her owner! :beer:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Home again, home again, jiggety jig.
DH went to see his mum before I got home, which made the day a bit easier. Lovely sensitive comments from the elite this morning were also much appreciated :heart2:0 -

Hello
I missed all the hilarity earlier. Was trying to convince DS2 that it's ok to use a new school bag before September:rotfl:
