    Afternoon :)

Been MIA for a couple of days. No reason, just busy with other things.

Happy Mother's Day fellow mothers. I have taught my children too well. I'm not getting a present until tomorrow :o I'm always telling them not to buy over-priced flowers on these occasions..........so they didn't :rotfl::rotfl: I'm getting some tomorrow when they're either reduced or at least normal price :p Don't mind at all, at least they thought about me ;) They all know how I feel about cards as well so I never got any of those either. I got notes to post on the fridge instead ;)

Not read back much, I've missed too much. Just wanted to say to the lovely SD. You should be happy in your own skin. One of the strongest, sweetest ladies I've had the pleasure to spend many a lonely night with on here in days gone past. Always time to listen to others despite your own troubles. Which would have had most on their knees :( Shame on those that consider themselves in a position to judge you......they aren't hug4.gif

My son has been taught that the value of the gift doesn't matter just the fact that the receiver was thought of is more important, although my mum wasn't too pleased with the 59p card and £1.25 box of chocs that I gave her but do I care :rotfl:
I had given DS money to buy gifts for me and my mum from him, next day he went to the ATM and lifted the money out of his account to give me back even though I told him not to but he said he never really spends his pocket money and at least he got something I'd like and wear (a charm for my bracelet).
One very happy mummy, he also got me some tête a tête's to plant out which seem to be almost ready to bud so will look nice out the front of the house for a wee while.

I hope things are going as well as can be for you and the family, I've been thinking of you quite a bit. I missed quite a bit of what happened but hope things get a better shade of normal for you all :kisses3:

We have been through a lot since Xmas. BIL went off the rails for a wee while due to his cousin being murdered, brought back memories for him of when DH died just after the funeral of his best friend. Too much for him to deal with :( he went on a week long bender, didn't turn up for duty and refused to speak to his Sargent. Ended up with MP picking him up and throwing him in cells after he tried to get into his car drunk then beat his mates up for trying to stop him drive off. Thankfully his Sargent knows how to get through to him and kept an eye on him for quite a while, keeping him busy seems to work with him as it's when he's bored things play on his mind :(
We have to be strong but sometimes we need someone to be there for us, I've found someone I can confide in and be a shoulder to cry on if needed and I can only hope you have someone there for you too xx

We not got them this year yet as our Merlin passes don't run out till end of May:) but I don't think we will this year as we have done the parks so much over the last few years

DS and I got the passes for 4 years. I'd happily not see another roller coaster for a while. He feels the same so we didn't get new ones when the last lot expired in May 2013.
