Savvybuyer wrote: »Remember how I've been waiting for the MSE energy club to update for ages, to allow me to switch again? It's now finally letting me do so! However, it's basing a saving on the Ofgem way of calculating which counts the cost of what I would in theory pay after my fix ends - I've absolutely no intention of staying a minute beyond then (and can of course ditch without penalty 45 or however many days it is before then) so it'll be ditch and switch. It therefore seems to be no saving on what I'm already paying:( - just another fix with the same supplier.
However, it's not offering me any CB:( for switching within my current supplier. I'm sure I've heard something about this though - was it an MPs' committee that very recently criticised another website (energy price comparison) for there being no CB for switching to current supplier and didn't that site give evidence to the committee to say that in fact this is, or should be, available for switching to your own supplier and that they do offer such a thing? I have vague recollection - but wasn't this something that MPs have criticised for not being available that therefore ought to be provided?

We had problems with our sky signal dropping out randomly but a few calls to sky and they checked everything, told us which channels were best for us and then upped our speed, no problems now“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

It is, on the way we use it, but I suspect not on how most customers behave(:wall:). Got to love 'em though - they pay for our cheap deals:rotfl:.
But that was not my main point;) - I want to know if the lack of CB within your current supplier has been (very recently) criticised by Parliamentary committee and that it should be provided.0 -
