I had an idea yesterday that I've been regretting all morning:)

I mixed some corn flour with water and poured it into a baking tray for littleman to play in... Helps develop fine motor skills. It's really strange it looks like the consistency of milk but when you put your fingers In to make patterns it's actually thicker than it looks.
Anyway littleman didn't like it but I regretably left it out and DD had a "play". I've been cleaning up circles of white powder all morning, she's got it everywhere:eek::eek:

this was on a new account

But I'd say it's misleading to be displayed on all TCB accounts if you're not eligible. I wonder how many people have been caught out :o

Mr monkey had the pancake new member declined, when I raised the claim stating that He bought every correct item in the t&c's they looked at it again and said it was initially declined as it wasn't his first transaction but on looking into it,it was but 500 cc points for joining were showing on his new account which was the bonus sign up that they mistook for his first transaction!

    Maybe yours is similar??

It was confirmed and paid after that:)

House stress has got to me a bit so I baked cakes again :o
Had a go at 2 tone icing, never done it before :)
Made these just for us, so didn't matter how they turned out :)
DH wants to buy me some proper baking bits :) I'm using whatever I can get my hands on at the moment which is why my icing isn't properly swirly :(

They look lovely and swirly to me dip. I'd be more than happy to have those :D

My DS also still has his forceps scar, but it is across his nose ... very tiny though and not really that noticeable unless you are very close to his face and know to look for it as his freckles camouflage it ;)
An bless, birth really isn't simple is it, I wish all these young mums were aware of the actual birth process when they start doing things they aren't ready for...

It's amazing how they all appear from no where just at the right time...we too had many paediatricians and nurses,
DD they thought had her arm stuck... Luckily it wasn't she was just too big:eek:
Her head had a cut and large red circle lump from the venthouse not at all pretty but it eventually disappeared:)

War wounds:D, my DS has a small dent/ hole in the top of his scalp where the monitor they attached a monitor during delivery was ripped off, you can get the pad of your little finger in it, hope he doesn't, lose his hair later as it's quite noticeable

Childbirth/parenthood really should not be entered into lightly :o Not really bothered about ds scar, was just happy and grateful to the medics for delivering him safely in the end. He did have a droopy left eye for the first few years of his life as the nerves above his eyelid had been sligtly damaged during the birth. Seems to have put itself right by itself as hes gotten older though :)

I do sometimes wonder if the developmental problems that he has are related  from what I have read, midwives and doctors could be better trained to deal with shoulder dystocia, they are not supposed to pull the babies head to help deliver once they know the shoulder is stuck...there was an awful lot of pulling going on with ds birth. They pulled my back end off the edge of the table a few times and had to haul me back up  At the end of the day though, I got a good outcome so never looked into it any further.
