Mr monkey had the pancake new member declined, when I raised the claim stating that He bought every correct item in the t&c's they looked at it again and said it was initially declined as it wasn't his first transaction but on looking into it,it was but 500 cc points for joining were showing on his new account which was the bonus sign up that they mistook for his first transaction!

    Maybe yours is similar??

It was confirmed and paid after that:)
    Hth

yes this is what's happened, got a bonus signup so I've emailed to ask them to look into it.

Childbirth/parenthood really should not be entered into lightly :o Not really bothered about ds scar, was just happy and grateful to the medics for delivering him safely in the end. He did have a droopy left eye for the first few years of his life as the nerves above his eyelid had been sligtly damaged during the birth. Seems to have put itself right by itself as hes gotten older though :)

I do sometimes wonder if the developmental problems that he has are related  from what I have read, midwives and doctors could be better trained to deal with shoulder dystocia, they are not supposed to pull the babies head to help deliver once they know the shoulder is stuck...there was an awful lot of pulling going on with ds birth. They pulled my back end off the edge of the table a few times and had to haul me back up  At the end of the day though, I got a good outcome so never looked into it any further.

I was reading from work and couldn't comment but I agree that midwives should be better trained for the less straightforward births.
We have had some tragedies at our local hospital lately, many of which, in hindsight might have had a better outcome....
my dil had an awful experience with dgd and she has been put off having any more.
Now it is my dd turn in a couple of weeks or less and I am dreading it as I had a community midwife deliver my children, one of those with the lace u pdm shoes, lol.
They all used to say that as they retired the skills were dying out as technology was taking over, and not always for the best.
I had a complication with my second, at home and it was made to be a simple problem, instead of a high drama by those ladies.....they were fantastic in an emergency and used their hands far more than machines etc.......I won't go into detail but my son had severe ligature marks for ages but they sorted it in a trice.
Sorry to waffle but its my specialised subject (mastermind), and very dear to my heart. xxx

Regarding Waitrose's changes my store still giving reduced multibuys and taking off higher amount so the changes may not be national. Secondly my sis went yesterday lady behind her in queue said if you upgrade to a larger t or coffee then that upgrade constitutes a purchase so t or coffee free with just 30p for upgrade to pay. Hth

I too had a problem with my son in that his shoulders were stuck and after giving me a premed for a ceaser they delivered him with forceps. i was away with the fairies so dont remember him being born but he was fine. however he had pyloric stenosis and had an op at 1 week. probably because they let me go 3 weeks over and he weighed 9lb 10.5oz. He did look a little stressed just after being born.
