I think I may have upset my MIL....
for months she has been on at me to friend her on facebook...no idea why but hey ho...
I have always said no as I believe she wouldnt "understand" my humour at times...but she has still been insistant.
Last week I gave in and accepted her friends request...
Today she has posted something from a silver surfers site she subscribes to about finding the perfect way to keep her house clean is not to allow he husband or children in...
I posted a reply saying "poor excuse as your child has lived with me for tht last 22 years..."
She has unfriended me!Tiger

How is everyone getting on with cleaning out their black glory holes and pits of despair - its very grim work?
I started about a week ago having a mass sort out of paperwork from the old cardboard concertina files into the shiny new metal files - it has been driving me deranged, every time I sort one file out and put it away neatly I find another that needs doing, never ending.
so today I tidied three more files of paperwork :j - including OHs so when the tax return comes I am now ready to do battle with it, baring the P60 etc.
I did a bank switch last May from an old Marks bank account to First Direct, set up the 6% savings account, sorted out a direct debit from our main household of £1000 - transfer £700 back again to the main household after the savings account money has gone out each month.
I had a mass of paperwork from them so I sorted it all out and put it into the new file boxes.
Then I began to think about the switching bonus and realised I'd not had it  So I went online double checked my statements and checked to see if I matched the criteria which I seemed to.
So I messaged them and within 10 mins I got a phone call from First Direct, went through security and the girl said yes the bonus had been missed off and she was transferring £100 into my FD right away :j
so I've got a stray £100 to spend on something nice now if I can think what that is - we have a few days away coming up - OHs birthday and also Mothers day combo so that's the spends sorted :j“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. My Easter egg hunt was fruitless. The shelves only contained broken eggs that scanned at £1.50 anywayI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. this is so sad.
we have lost 2 and even now it breaks your heart, loosing humans is one thing but when cats go they take your heart as well.
we still have their paperwork and injection cards from the vets and Ive never taken fluffys blanket out of his basket - it cant still smell of him but its only now that Treacle has slept in the same basket.Ladyshopper wrote: »Not really taken anything in except Snaps news. Very pleased to ready your update, and enjoy Tenby.
Unfortunately I have had a very sad day. When we came down this morning, my cat had lost the use of her back legs. Took her to the vets, and as she is 18, the kindest thing to do was to let her go.
Am devastated. Was a complete wailing mess in the vets. Have brought her home to bury her in the garden with her brother, who passed away last year.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
