Thank you everybody for saying such nice things. Made me cry again.

I know lots of people don't understand, and think its just a cat, but she was such a character, and a huge part of our family. I had her before I had my children, and she was so loved by all of us.

Will be very strange not to have a cat in the house any more, but with a big holiday followed by my surgery in the summer, now isn't the time to be thinking of getting one. Definitely will at some point though.

I can't remember the details, but on the Martin Lewis Money Show a while back, they were on about how you can sometimes get a refund on advanced tickets under exceptional circumstances, might be worth looking for (sorry I don't know the episode number) if the cost is considerable - maybe contact your train operator.
