Agreed! The current system is extremely basic.

Someone posted this link a few weeks ago which has to be about APGs. I'd imagine the new system will utilize long (unique) barcodes which can only be scanned once, and this would allow the option of scannable codes on your phone (no more printing).

Interesting video on the company's own website.

Not really taken anything in except Snaps news. Very pleased to ready your update, and enjoy Tenby.

Unfortunately I have had a very sad day. When we came down this morning, my cat had lost the use of her back legs. Took her to the vets, and as she is 18, the kindest thing to do was to let her go. :(

Am devastated. Was a complete wailing mess in the vets. Have brought her home to bury her in the garden with her brother, who passed away last year.

I am sorry to hear your news Ladyshopper. It is so sad when a much loved pet leaves us. Thinking of you. :A

Weirdly, my oh and I were discussing differences in how people act at crossings the other day. Basically, unless the road is completely clear of cars (none at all visible, and no nearby blind corners where a car could appear from), I always press the button and wait.

My oh, however not only doesn't do this, but thinks that I am being inconsiderate by doing it. He always tries to cross without using the lights. If its busy he will stand without pressing the button and nip over when there is a gap in the cars. He will only press the button if its so busy there wont be a gap. He says what I do is 'annoying' for the drivers.

I say the driver would be even more 'annoyed' if they hit me

My perspective is that roads (whether as a pedestrian or driver) are basically the most dangerous thing I encounter each day, and its better for everyone if people are careful. I hadn't even thought about it being a 'bad example', but young teens I see are often the most reckless - running across roads when there is only a tiny gap in traffic etc (I always think, what if they trip? :( ).

I gave been known to almost want them to trip:eek:. Not so they get hurt but just enough to scare them. But that would be awful for the driver too :(

Aww bless you. What a good innings she had though LS. 18 years is a good long life but I know that's not any consolation. Sending you hugs, hope your ok lovely xx
