Received my letter this moning - Loyalty Saver issue 4 dropping to 1.20% as of 1st April. :(

Roll on a base rate rise.
Was your letter dated the 24th February by any chance?

Just got my letter too dated 24th February. I think Nationwide need to investigate where all these letters have been for the last 2 weeks!

My letter arrived today as well, dated 24th Feb. I've only been with Nationwide for 10 years so my rate drops to 1.10%

I got the same letter on Thursday. I queried this with my local branch - I just got fobbed off with it being Royal Mail's fault and they weren't particularly bothered.

It is true that Royal Mail deals with the "final mile", but the mail service used by Nationwide is UKMail which is notoriously slow. Folk with postal accounts with the Leeds Building Society may wish to be aware that they, too, use UKMail with a similar drastic decline in service.

Well I finally had my letter from Nationwide giving their "Final response".No surprise they re-iterated that it is not their responsibility but Royal Mail. Letter was emailed to Financial Omdudsman along with details of my complaint and the fact that It was not an isolated case. I have a case number and they are looking into it. If anyone else is as incensed as I am I would recommend submitting a complaint. It was really simple online. Fed up with arrogant Nationwide. It's my money and if you want to use it to make money be nice to me.

Remind me what your complaint is about, please. Sorry I have lost track, too much going on.
