I went to smaller store this morning, one that I don't normally use.
Did my usual (fairly small) shop, with just over £10 worth toiletries, and said I didn't have my Clubcard with me (I've used it a lot lately, trying to use up H&B coupons).
The young lad on the till surprised me by saying he couldn't take any coupons if I didn't have my Clubcard with me. I've never been told that before - has this happened to anyone else recently? I asked him if he would just take one - 'no' and he said all Tescos would say the same!
I paid for the goods but on my way out asked for a refund at Customer Services.

I must admit I will be quite glad when I spend my last H&B tomorrow - although I have made quite a bit of money for my local charity.

A big thank you to everyone who's helped me do that.

Yes i can confirm they do. I brought the oral B advance power 400 barcode 4210201271086.

Not a bad toothbrush, ideal for camping

Thank you for this, did two shops and got two differnt ones, one sonic and about £13 and the other was about £14 so I made my shop up to £20 of toiletry and beauty with that one. Wish I had thought of doing this before because these are so useful. Anyway I have now used up all my toiletry and beauty coupons (except for one healthcare one), a day before the use up date, far less stress than using them all up on the final day like last time. Plus I topped up on other bits of shopping so I dont really need to go to Tesco for days and days now - huge relief :rotfl:

My mum's just come back from shopping and she said the staff were handing out the leaflets to anyone looking at toiletries as the date runs out tomorrow. Must have a lot of spare H&B leaflets in that store.

used up my last coupons today doing 4 separate shops in small local store. radox glitch worked earlier this week but not today. used up 2 x £1 off typhoo coupons no problem to make up for no £1 HB left. had a young jobsworth who used up all his brain cells trying to reject some coupons but they all went through till. then he really struggled with counting the coins i gave him.:rotfl:
Teamwork means.......never having to take all the blame yourself ;)
  • The Radox glitch didn't work for me today either (this is the first time it hasn't so can't complain).
    If I had known then what I know now . . .
