So I bought the paper and 2 bags of typhoo tea bags and some shower gel. I get to the checkout then the nasty supervisor clocked me, she calls over her buddy.
she comes up and I say look at what I have bought and can you scan whatever you are willing to take. On 6 shower gels and 2 hand wash she would only take one h&b - but she took 2 x £1 tetley vouchers - stating that because the h&b is bogof and the tetley is bogof but not tesco specific vouchers she could take more ?? - I paid. I went to do 2nd transaction, she says "I am being blunt you are abusing the system" - I state that this is for my mum and hence seperate transaction. she's giving me evils, I am shaking like a leaf and quickly get my stuff and go. I had bought all the products for the coupons but apparently if you are doing 2 seperate shops in one store that is abusing the system !
On the way to the office feeling a tad disheartened I popped in to another store and restored my faith in the nice tesco staff that are around.
I got work and my colleagues made me a tea of cup and gave me a copy of the Grocer to shut me up !
as for the horrible store - I am not going back there again - I dont need the hassle.

I always knew I'd get caught "shoplifting" a box of free Quits, and always knew my story, I was surprised it took so long though.
I look much more suspicious on a coupon hunt so Ive been told, than I do relieving T of their Hand B stuff...Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

As of this time today, can anyone clarify that the glitches are still working?
Just about to get my act together and go shopping!0 -
i've always worried about taking too many leaflets etc and being followed by a security guard. I'll have to watch myself. My best yet was 25 H&B, 10SB and 10 Quits and I wasn't rumbled!
Hubby keeps telling me one of these days he will have to bail me out of jail with all my tesco couponing!
Happy Shopping

OK just had a bit of a mad thought, see what you think.
I heard last night that it is now going to be free to send parcels out to lads on the front line. I dont have any connections out there but I expect many of us do and as sending parcels is going to be free at least until Christmas a few nice toiletries might be something to parcel up and send out.
(I dont know wether the PO allows parcels of toiletries, liquids or sprays, maybe a security thing??? Or even wether they would stand the heat out there????)“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I don't think it's a mad thought. I thought exactly the same when I read it yesterday. Seems a brilliant idea to me and I'm sure it would definitely be appreciated. If I had known then what I know now . . .

Would be nice to do something for the forces like the childrens' shoebox appeal at Christmas.
If every member of the forces could get a shoebox of nice goodies that would let them know we're all thinking of them out there in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Perhaps one of the newspapers would take it up?0 -

My oh will rarely enter Tesco's but if he does, I try and get him to grab me a few of whatever coupons are on offer.. he looks far too furtive and guilty and never gets more than a couple.
My favourite tactic is to pile them neatly in a corner of the trolley [its possible there is only 1 or 2 sheets there at a quick glance then], when unloading dump my handbag on top, then replace it with the first bag of shopping.
We got home 1 night and he produced his couple of sheets of coupons. I then produced my big pile that had now been safely transferred to a bag. He told me he wouldn't go shopping with me again.. :rotfl:So your answer don’t be scared of failure

Its been made clear to me by more than 1 sa that splitting the shopping and using mocs etc is not acceptable.
The last time I told an sa the second lot was for my step-daughter. She said I should have taken it to another sa then, but grudingly let a few coupons through.
Did she think I'd go back to the car, unload, and go back in for more shopping? As if any of us would do that.
