  • Is it me or are the current H&B offers rubbish?

For the last 250 pointers we had expensive mouthwash and toothpaste on BOGOF (DtD if brave enough, or able to spot it), High end Olay, garnier stuff at 1/3 or even 1/2 off. Best thing I can find at the mo is tresemme thermal recovery bogof -

Speaking of which what is the lowest price H&B item to bring 2x£4.96 over £10?

I keep buying cotton wool balls for 46p or so!!!!

Or Dove hand cream reduced to £1

    hi guys

Can i just check if i was to spend £5.00 worth of toiletry which are on BOGOF so should be £10.00, it would cost me £5.00 but i could use 1 voucher for 250 points ?

Also if was to buy some money off coupons on Ebay, the ones i've been looking at are :-

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150257162708

could i then use 4 x £1.00 coupon and 2 x 50p coupon so it costs me nothing ??

Don't buy these ones poppyred, they are not redeemable by Tesco.

The naughty seller has answered a question wrongly (maybe they don't know any better but I reckon they do). The banners about Morrisons vouchers that Tesco stores have displayed are saying they accept Morrisons' spend & save vouchers. It's nothing new, Tesco have accepted other Supermarkets' spend & save vouchers for years.

But these are not spend & save vouchers they are MOCs with Morrisons on which are not OK to use in Tesco. You should be looking for NSS manufacturers' coupons on eBay, there are always some listed. Avoid any that say they were issued by xxxx store 'but they work in Tesco'. Most things with a barcode 'work' in Tesco but it doesn't mean they are OK to use.

I agree Couponmad, I think this seller is being very devious.

The coupon clearly has a Morrisons logo on it so it should only be used in Morrisons as it isn't a spend and save voucher, just an ordinary money off coupon.

I feel sorry for the 2 people who have bought 6 sets between them, I am sure when they try and redeem them in Tesco, they will be refused.

 Whats annoying me, is that people are grabbing all the H&B vouchers and flogging them on ebay for a HUGE amount !!

I`ve been saving for a Florida trip for 2009.. and have currently got just over £300 (not bad for 2 months work)... and am desperate for H&B`s, but refuse to pay £5 a time !!

Totally agree liz_uk ....... had a discussion the other day and don't know why they just don't give the vouchers to the SAs to hand out on the tills - one for each customer  - how difficult is that? They do the computers for schools etc vouchers in exactly the same way so what's the problem with doing it for the H&B vouchers?

Shocking! We paid £150 for 2 nights in Holiday Inn, Oxford St, they constantly do 2 for 1 offer, if you see hotukdeals theres more info. Although you dont really want to hear that if you cant cancel, sorry :o
At least I know know to bother saving for weekend away if they charge you way over the top for Tesco deals.

Blimey we just had 6 nights in krakow in a appartment for 4 of us with a fully fitted kitchen inclusding fridge freezer and washing machine. 249 euros for the week (WE stayed 6 nights but checked out in the aft on last day)
Couple that with £40 return flights with EJ and its cheaper to go abroad than stay here!

Tonight I bought 6 of the Shockwaves Ultra Strong Gel Spray which should be on 2 for £4 but although this is what my receipt says, the discount given makes it 2 for £3 :j

I don't know if this will work on other shockwaves but worth a try.
