Sorry to hear about your bad day Highland_Lass ....... only thing I can think of is that you've got 4 cards?? Maybe someone will be along soon to confirm. I can't see any problem with the H&B vouchers or the B1g1F (Mr T needs to sort out his tills if that's an issue!)

Are they going to let you know what they decide?

I.e your partners parents house to get the same surname etc? Then you could still use the vouchers? What happened with your DTD shop? Was it alot of money you got back and were you using same store?

    T&Cs from Tesco Clubcard site:
    1. The Tesco Clubcard card and Key Fobs are issued by and remain the property of Tesco Stores Limited which reserves the right, at any time without notice, to: (a)terminate the scheme; (b)decline to issue Clubcard cards and Key Fobs; and (c)on reasonable grounds, withdraw or cancel Clubcard cards, Key Fobs or points collected, or to alter or amend the conditions of operation of the Tesco Clubcard scheme. Reasonable grounds include (i) any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme, or (ii)any use or attempted use of a Clubcard card, Key Fob or points in a manner which is contrary to these terms and conditions or (iii)any reasonable suspicion of dishonesty on the part of a member in connection with the scheme.
    2. All participants in the Tesco Clubcard scheme must be resident in the UK and aged 18 years or over.
    3. The Clubcard card is not transferable, and can only be used by the person whose signature is on the card. Clubcard Key Fobs may be used by any member of the main Clubcard holder's immediate family who is resident at the same address, as registered for the main Clubcard holder.
    4. Members may be removed from the scheme at any time at the discretion of Tesco.
    5. Your Clubcard card and Key Fobs can only be used at Tesco stores and other promotional partners who may from time to time be part of the scheme. Your Clubcard card cannot be used as a credit card or a guarantee card.
    6. The Tesco Clubcard scheme is only for personal and consumer use. Tesco Clubcard Points and Vouchers cannot be transferred, sold or in any way traded. They may only be pooled by members with the same postal address.
    7. Your Clubcard card and Key Fobs cannot be used for any transaction where the beneficiary is a business and/or the owners of a business.
    8. Clubcard Key Fobs remain the responsibility of the main Clubcard holder.
So I reckon that they've got you - they could argue that the reasonable person would not have 4 accounts linked to the same address with one person (you) having access to all 4 accounts.

BTW I don't agree with what they've done but under the T&C paragraph 4 they can pretty much do anything they want.

Good luck - I daresay the likes of Leadhead and Taxiphil may be able to share some of their experiences with you and perhaps help.

1, Not at any stage, does it say you can only have one club card!
    2. What I call reasonable and what tesco call reasonable can be a million miles apart, so this is debateable.

    HOWEVER,

the new wording in the T&C no.4, shoots everyone in the foot (Members may be removed from the scheme at any time at the discretion of Tesco). I'm not sure how this would stand up in court though.

Good luck, I hope all works out for you:(
If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.

    My way is Atkins;)

Thanks all. I bought 8 bottles of the £5.45 C & W cos I really did want it and at £4 for the two it was a mega bargain. Of course it didn't work at £4 and they gave me back dtd. When the offer was still on later in the day I bought 4 of the £4.44 ones and didn't get dtd but got them for £8 for the 4.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

We don't have a Tesco in our town. Eastwards the next is 10 miles away and then 22 miles. West 15 miles and the next town has 3.
