'5 second rule' if two identical vouchers are scanned within 5 seconds of each other then the voucher is not accepted. If the SA were to wait 5 seconds (unlikely) then they would all scan as the computer would not assume tit was a mis-scan.

ust tell the Sa to use the handheld scanner as this doesnt have a 5 second rule

I only have a few of the £1 H&B vouchers,, so thought I could do with some herbal essence, which are BOGOF. Just bought 2 to see if it worked, and the voucher wouldnt scan. tried it also with buying 4, still didnt scan. Is Herbal essence not classed as H&B??? Just try to get a few cheap things with my vouchers... I know before last year when doing this, it worked on pre BOGOF prices. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Although Iv'e got loads of these, I've never yet tried one...as I dont like spending money, as theres nothing free to be had.....but....It could be that theyve been stopped or been adjusted on the system.

There's various errors on the leaflet, and there seems to be none about.....so I'm wondering if the £1 ones have actually been withdrawn/cancelled.....

The £1 coupon worked for me today on 2 Colgate toothpastes and a value shower gel. (total spend after muti-buy £3.11 - £1 coupon = £2.11)

Just re read your post, Just to correct you...it isnt an actual £1 H&B Coupon...its a £1 Toiletry Coupon, as against a £1 Beauty Coupon or a £1 Health Coupon....which all come under the label of H&B.....Usually, run of the mill shampoos like these do come under the "toiletry" section, so yes...i cant understand why it was refused......A lot of items often fall into both the toiletry and beauty sections, so (when there are both toiletry and beauty coupons available) either or both coupons could be used, and shampoos in the past have usually had this attribute.....obviously not any longer.......

There are lots of incidences of these coupons not scanning, but i'm sure if you went to CS they would refund you your £1....providing of course you dont do it too much with the same csa in the same store on the same day.....

Hmmmm was i mistaken or was it not Tesco that had the Aussie haircare 2 for £5 ? I swore I saw it was to be on sale til the 12th ? I can't seem to find it now!
