Yes it's excellent news/slip up by Mr T... Picked up my 12 free shakes today on dtd using my leaflet as POS material.... They took my leaflet off me though..

I'll try this tonight....I picked up loads of those 75% off coupons as well............are the products already reduced, or is the coupon needed to get the 75% discount..... also picked up another 100+ coke from stores 20miles away....
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Herbal Essence is classed as Toiletry & Beauty... There's even a pic of it on the £1.00 coupon... Patty reported £1.00's not scanning either.. Not sure how much she spent.. Let's hope for future needs it's just a glitch with the £1.00's & not to do with the bogof spend.

BTW.. professional shampoos like Nicky Clarke & McAdam are beauty only.

    Hello Missus...:D

Yep, i did have trouble with the £1 ones.

Bought JF shampoo (2.97?) some value t/brushes (for cleaning footie boots) & something else to make it over £4.

Despite being assured by HB Consultant that JF was definately *Toiletry* (plus being in toiletry category on dot com)....it wouldn't scan:rolleyes:

    I was a brave girlie & went to CS.........:o

Left store with £1 in pocket...:D

Had a bad day/evening with my Special K......so had to try and ease the pain...with some Slimfast

Went in to a 10mile away T tonight(too well known in locals at CS) fully intending to get some DTD slimfast, but came accross another 15 x 4 Coke plus.....took these (6 then the 9)(scan £1.99....coupon£2.49) and 18x2 litre Pepsi, 6 Maryland cookies,(both on the 75% off leaflet...coke scans 34p, cookies 19p)... 1 litre of Orange and 2 Thirst pockets(to make the transactions !a spend")...this was split over 2 transcations, and cost me a whopping 99pence.....

So came home without my DTD slimfast...but the Coke Plus is finished tonight, and the 75% off only lasts till the 5th, so plenty of time for Garlic Points and DTD's after that.

The reason i asked was that there are reports somewhere that the Pepsi actually goes through at much less than the remaining 25%

Pepsi = £1.32 the coupon takes £1.02 off but some one reports it going through at 13pence..........but it cost me 30p....well it didnt...it cost me virtually nothing using the extra money off the Coke Plus Coupons.....

SEE explanation below of 13p per bottle.

I think there is a multi-buy discount (2 for £2?), but the 75% comes off the £1.32 individual price.

Yes you are right...I saw that tonight but didnt catch on.....So much on my mind...I wonder if i can take the lot back and ask for a DTD........only joking!!

Addendum..Just looked at both receipts for tonight, and the multibuy has kicked in....and it says 2 for £2.30...so has taken an extra 34p off for every 2

    6 Pepsi max.......£7.92
    6 Pepsi Diet.......£7.92
    9 Coke 4x350ml..£17.91
Orange Juice.....£1.19(nearest thing i could grab)

    Total ....................£34.94
    Savings...............-£2.04...mutibuy of 17p a bottle...so bottle cost is 13p

    Coupon 9 x £2.49...£22.41
    Coupon 10x £1.02.£10.20

    cost 29pence.

Couldnt find any of the 10p frozen Tuna Fish either........and with a freezer almost bursting with trout after some wonderful fishing/couponing expeditions.........there'll still be some room for some Tuna...........and if its almost free.......why not.........I'll look today.....

  • I went to Mr T'S today to do a spot of h&b and dtd (as mentioned previously on this thread)

I put in the trolley (along with other bits and bobs)

2 macadam shampoo (2.00 shelf price)
2 macadam conditioner (2.00 shelf price)
    4 garlic caps (35p)

i intended to use 2 x £1 off toiletry and 4 50 pointers, then also go to CS for dtd on macadam shampoo as on h&b leaflet should be 1.47... FOILED

cashier could not scan £1 toiletry or 50 pointers!!!
so i told her i didnt want the shampoo or conditioner which she removed. still took the garlic but couldnt be bothered to go to cs as my son was playing up!!! what a terrible trip!!!!

where did i go wrong?? any ideas??

Thats OK my Coupon Queen, every one disregards some things in life.

Sadly i think my Couponing days are over..........although ive just counted the coke mountain in the garage and at supposedly £2.49 a pack of four...theres nigh on £900 worth.......last day today.....non left in local my stores though.

    Leadhead,
I have a feeling that if you cut the expiry date from the top of the coke coupon it will still scan, what do you think ?
I'm going to try it later...
From my experience I've found out the only coupons that don't scan past their expiry date are Tescos own..H&B etc...
