I had a brilliant shop today in a store I don't normally visit much.

Was a bit worried as had left it a bit late and it was about 3.30 when I got to the tills. Only old people on the tills and then luckily a youngish lad came on so went to him.

Wasn't sure if he would put everything through for me but he scanned all my toiletry vouchers and then I passed him a few moc's.

I think he was Polish and he was such fun! he said I think you can only have £1 off or maybe its 10% or it could be 3 of one kind, he didn't have a clue and was laughing about it, a really good happy scanner, he ended up scanning £8 worth of moc's and left me with a £3 bill from an original bill of £20 including a HB shop.

He also advised me to stay away from old ladies (his words!) and to go for the younger people as he said all the oldies were miserable and wouldn't scan any moc's, straight from the horses mouth!

I,ve had a few nice surprizes from older ladies on tills, so not all bad, and a few nasty ones from youngsters, you just never can tell. Tonight I had a lovely young man (ooh er missus) knew he would be ok just by looking, getting good at this. He was complaining he never gets any vouchers just his staff discount and some ladies ones through the post, didnt have time to tell him the whole story, just that , they,re not vouchers but coupons and they just lie about the shop, dont think he belived me. Now had my car booty, was a very quiet day but all my Plax sold at £1.00 each, same with Lynx, hand wash at 80p toothpaste at 25p (that was the 29p stuff...cheeky) and slimfast bars and tubs at £1.00 not bad for freebies eh!

I had a great young boy happy scanner yesterday who scanned everything I gave him then asked if I had any more coupons.....I gave him loads....well he did ask! He then commented in a loud voice that I had a great shop for 58p:eek: :eek: :eek: I made a quick exit!

I had the same problem yesterday using multiple coupons, although she did take 4xPlax coupons. I went to my usual scan-happy cashier, but apparently, someone had used loads of coupons on her till earlier that day and she had been severely told off for accepting them.

Where are the Plax vouchers from. I have loads of 2.50 h & b but no plax and quit......... of are they finished now?

The Plax coupons are on the quit sheets.
I think it is only on BOGOF til tomorrow.

they can be found in the quit smoking packs if you can find any

well i did a couple this last week but it was a bit scarey both times!
First in the week I just picked up 4 plax and 2 x 37p toothpastes plus a few other bits of shopping.
4 plax = £11.44 before bogof + 2 x 37p for t/p = 74p Total before BOGOF £12.28

after bogof total is £6,56

Gave in 4 x plax £1
2 x 40p colgate t/p
£2.50 off toiletries
£1.25 x 2
£1 off toiletries
= £9.55, leaving me £3 in profit

also threw a few other coupons at her which she took but was mutering and deliberating as I sweated lol

then yesterday was a bit braver

picked up 2 x tresemme shampoo
4 x plax
2 x 37p toothpaste
2 x value packs of 2 toothbrushes (I use these while on holiday)
total £20.46 before BOGOF
Total AFTER BOGOF = £10.75

Gave in
2x£2.50 toiletries
1x £2.50 SB (Had one solitary one of these I found last week )
5X £1 toiletries
4x £1.25 QK
4x £1 plax
2x 40p colgate
2 x 40p toothpaste from kids packs
2 x 25p toothbrushes from kids packs (How I wish I had got more of these!!!! only got one each)

a whopping, massive £23.60!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I then handed over a few more coupons which brought my shopping down from over £30 to £3.

Lad, after taking them all, then decided to call his SA over to check he could do that!!!! They'd cmpleted transaction by then so they werent going to take them all back, but he was told they'd have to check what he had taken. Stoopid boy!! I thought the youngsters were ok, too!

Anyway I now have, after other shops I did before the last lot of H&B stuff finished and the one before that. (Bit of adding up done yesterday) enough shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and mouthwash to last about 3 years. Plus enough toothpaste for the next year I reckon. also loads of radox, but none of us get baths!! (We all smell!)

Still got a couple of weeks left havent we?and a couple of coupons left so a bit more to do!!

is the plax still on bogof? I still have tons of those ones!

I thought I was all done for a few days.....then l found 20+ plax coupons in a drawer last night......off I go again
