Been out stocking up as not sure if the offers will work tomorrow or not and wanted to take advantage of the Lynx :)

Anyway, while I was out, major drama unfolds in front of me, shoplifter tried to runout of the store with goods, gets taken down by about 15 guards and managers (no exaggeration!) it needed five of them to keep him pinned down on the floor!

Tannoy going into overdrive, screaming for all the managers to go to the front doors, mayhem ensues.

I took full advantage while all this was going on, everyone else was rubbernecking while I calmly got 4 lots of HB for pennies with a nice young lad ;)

Also, don't know if its only my store, but was handed a double coupon for £6 off clothing and also £6 off electricals while in the store.

Just wondering if they are a duplicate of the magical ones a few months back that scanned against anything and took £6 off your shopping...
    we can but hope :D

pmsl Ragtime. I just knew what you were gonna say when you mentioned the melee! I'd have done exactly the same and taken full advantage of the situation. What a shame we can't make a robot to do such a thing each time we go in!:D

    WELL DONE!!

Oh and good news on the £6 coupon front...

Someone over on PTS has tried it and it worked for them without buying electricals, but they did have to spend over £30 to get it working though.

Was that a before bogof spend or after?
I could easily get a HB shop to over £30 with a few groceries but it would dip under the £30 threshold once the bogof came off, just wondered what your scenario was Gargoyle?

Came to £57 before bogof spend, then down to £48ish. Used DM book token which brought it down to £46 and then she scanned both clothing and electrical coupon and then various HB and MOC's down to £24.
