Tried to use my QK £1.25 off a £5 spend yesterday night, but I hadn't spend enough money, as the Sunsilk Shampoo/Conditioner in the BOGOF offer did not scan as £1.77 each with a £1.77 credit. Instead each one went through at 88p each with no BOGOF - so effectively you're getting 2 for £1.76.

I complained to Customer Services, who were totally confused as to why I was complaining that the price was too low, but they claimed I must have bought the wrong size shampoo (which I hadn't) - but gave me cash for the voucher to get rid of me (I would have asked them to take all the toiletries back if they didn't give me the money off).

Not sure if this is a one off, or if Tesco is getting wise to the advantage we're taking of the BOGOF/MOC combination. Maybe all BOGOF offers are now scanning at half their price.

Just checked Tesco Online, and the Sunsilk offer has changed to a Half Price offer - there do still seem to be some BOGOF offers (e.g. Tresemme is still there), so they haven't changed everything!

If you read back 4 or 5 days posts there was a discussion on the fact that Tesco is putting things down to half price in an attempt to close the bogof loophole. But there are ways and means around it as BhamDave's useful shopping lists prove. HTH

Just got back from Mr Ts and was told by SA that they are now only allowed to take one of each coupon as they have been told that "apparently there is now a website that tells people how to cheat with bogsoffs and H&b coupons". How slow are they!!! We need a secret forum!!!

Most stores have their own policy on coupon acceptance.. I was in one yesterday & I was only allowed to use coupons up to the total spend on the coupon.. £20.00 spend I could only use a £2.50 & 2 x £1.25 qp's or 2 x £2.50's.. A confusing one to me... Dumped my shopping & left happy with some H&B coupons.. No SB's in sight..

Some stores I've been in will only accept 1 in total.. but I do like the 1 of each policy, it means doing £10.00 bogof spends but can usually make up the shortfall with a moc.. Hoping to get hold of some SB's so can coupon in that store at great ease.. Great thing is I know where I stand in this store with this policy.

Of course there are cashiers who have not been informed of any policy at all & will just take everything.. You just have to find them.. These guys & girls are image printed in my mind...
  • wondering what the deal is on plax......could someone explain to me please....thanks
